Carrie Hunt Presents Blu Homes

Carrie Hunt is the Senior Director of Sales at Blu Home Inc of Vallejo.  She studied Sustainable and Green Design at Berkeley, and Economics at Cal Poly.  She worked in construction management for 7 years before joining Blu Homes.  She has also worked as a volunteer for United Way and Habitat for Humanity.

Founded in 2008, Blu Homes specializes in single- and multi-family homes, done in pieces and assembled on site, what you might call very fancy pre-fab houses.  The company’s technology develops factory-built environmentally friendly prefabricated homes for residential, commercial and institutional buyers, enabling customers to create home designs online in 3-D, saving time and lowering costs.

Carrie will explain to us exactly what Blu Homes does, and also bring us up to date on various aspects of the reconstruction efforts after last years’ fines.
