Sonoma County Regional Parks

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors selected Bert Whitaker to become the new director of Sonoma County Regional Parks on May 1. Whitaker has served as parks manager since 2007. Regional Parks has approximately 200 employees and a budget of $26 million.

The Sonoma Coast, the Russian River, the Sonoma Valley and other spectacular settings are yours to explore in Sonoma County’s Regional Parks. Hike, camp, picnic, bike, kayak, or simply take in the views. Whatever your idea of outdoor fun, you’re sure to find it in the parks.

Bert will discuss the latest situation in the parks as a result of the fire, and give us an update on the status and upcoming plans for the parks.
